Five years after the attacks of November 13 in Paris, the German football team, which played at the Stade de France that evening, has not forgotten this "terrible night", assured German coach Joachim Löw on Friday .

“Yesterday at breakfast we talked about the terrible night of November 13 (2015),” Löw said during the Germany-Ukraine pre-match press conference on Saturday (8:30 p.m.) in the League of Nations in Leipzig.

“It was an experience that is associated for us with fear, with a lot of deaths,” he continued: “We always think back to a day like this, but here in Leipzig we don't care. for the safety".

On the night of November 13, commandos guided by the Islamic State (IS) group had killed 130 people in the heart of Paris and around the Stade de France, during the France-Germany meeting.

At the end of the match, the Germans remained confined to the stadium for safety reasons.

They finally spent the night there, sleeping on mattresses brought for them, before going out in the early morning to catch a plane.
