“Strong authority over the Digital Agency, pulling out young executives” Liberal Democratic Party Proposal November 14, 5:21

Regarding the Digital Agency, which the government is aiming to establish, the Liberal Democratic Party's Promotion Headquarters has put together a proposal to give strong authority such as budgeting and execution, and to select young executives.

The Liberal Democratic Party's "Digital Society Promotion Headquarters" has put together a proposal on how the Digital Agency should be organized.

The proposal states that it should be a permanent organization with strong authority under the direct control of the Cabinet, and should be given the authority to book and execute related budgets and have sufficient capacity.

On top of that, regardless of the organizational culture and precedents of central government ministries and agencies, we are requesting that the right person be assigned to the right person regardless of the public or private sector, such as by selecting young executives.

In addition, while establishing a system common throughout the country and promoting the digitization of local governments, the financial resources generated by the efficiency improvement will be used for investment to promote the digitization of society as a whole.

The Promotion Headquarters will formally compile a proposal next week and submit it to the government.
