The nightmare that has haunted Frank Cuesta every night for six years
seems to be over.
The TV host has announced on his YouTube channel that Yuyee, his ex-wife and mother of four children, has been released after six years in a Thai prison.
Yuyee was
sentenced to 15 years
in prison after a search at a Bangkok airport in 2012 seized 0.005 grams of cocaine.
An insufficient amount even for a dose of personal consumption.
However, Thai justice fell on the former model and in 2014 she went to prison.
Since then, the presenter, known as
Frank of the Jungle,
has gone out of
his way
to get
his ex-wife released.
In addition, during these years he has dedicated himself to visiting her daily to give her everything she needed, since Thai prisons are not like Spanish ones.
As he told in an interview in
El Hormiguero
, every day he got up at dawn to travel the more than
100 kilometers
that separated his house from prison and be able to bring him food and money.

The video lasts 12 minutes, in which Frank has taken the opportunity to thank all the people who have cared for Yuyee over the years for their love.
"Thanks to all the anonymous people who in some way have written to him and have sent him messages of support."
Cuesta also wanted to remember that his ex is free thanks to the fact that they have not lost
