“The next two Il-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Aerospace Forces of Russia flew from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield to Armenia,” RIA Novosti reported. 

According to the Ministry of Defense, there are armored personnel carriers, materiel and personnel of the peacekeeping unit on board the aircraft.

The ministry added that more than 750 military personnel and more than 110 pieces of equipment have been delivered to Armenia by air since November 10.

Earlier, Russian Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters, which are taking part in the peacekeeping operation in Nagorno-Karabakh, flew to their home airfields.
