On October 20, the hospitals in the Kronoberg region went into staff mode, due to an increased number of covid-19 infected.
Three days later, the Kronoberg region sent out a press release on "Significant spread of infection in parts of the county" and "strained situation in care".
The same evening, October 23, staff at the cardiac intensive care unit had a conference with a subsequent Halloween party.
According to P4 Kronoberg, the region paid for parts of the party - as a "work environment activity".
Several fell ill
Shortly afterwards, several of the staff in covid-19 fell ill and several care places had to be closed.
According to sources to P4 Kronoberg, patients have also become infected.
The party has contributed to the spread of infection according to operations manager Thomas Aronsson.
