18 October 2020Died at just 33 years of age from that coronavirus which he had denied the existence of on his blog with over a million followers: this is how the Ukrainian Dmitriy Stuzhuk, 'influencer' who promoted a healthy life and dedicated to fitness but who was a denial of Covid-19.
Stuzhuk became ill on a trip to Turkey and was hospitalized upon his return to Ukraine after testing positive.
The social media star was discharged from the hospital after eight days, but the virus caused heart complications.
After being rushed again, his ex-wife Sofia, 25, confirmed that he was in "serious condition" and "unconscious".
His repentance entrusted to social networks was belated: "I want to share how I got sick and warn everyone", he wrote, "I thought Covid did not exist until I got infected. It is not short-lived! It is heavy".
