The evening of international football matches in Europe was marked by a huge surprise: the defeat conceded by France, world champion, in front of modest Finland, victorious 2-0 at the Stade de France on Wednesday.

France was surprised in the first period by two goals signed Forss (28), Valakari (31).

Without a spring, Didier Deschamps' players were unable to turn the tide.

A worrying defeat three days before the match in Lisbon in the League of Nations against Portugal, which did not make it in the lace against Andorra, crushed 7-0 for the card of the evening.

As for the match that was the main poster, Netherlands - Spain, it ended in the Johan-Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam in a draw (1-1) after an unspectacular match.

Belgium, Italy and Germany remained master at home, facing Switzerland (2-1), Estonia (4-0) and the Czechs (1-0) respectively.

This evening also saw Turkey and Croatia separate in a draw, but with a shower of goals (3-3), in Istanbul.

In the first period, Turkey opened the scoring on a penalty from Tosun (23rd).

Budimir (32nd) had equalized for Croatia, but it was Senol Günes' men who took the lead thanks to Türük (41st) who, launched on the left side by a long pass, cheated on the left Croatian goalkeeper Sluga.

Back from the locker room, a wind of madness arose on Vodafone Park, with three goals between the 53rd and 58th minutes.

Zlatko Dalic's men first came back to the front thanks to Pasalic (53rd) then Brekalo (56th) with a good header at six meters on a precise cross from the left.

Not for long: two minutes later, Leicester striker Ünder equalized with a nice shot from the right at the entrance to the box, after a nice three-way combination of the Turkish attack.

Another highlight of the evening: the river score (5-3) of Romania-Belarus in Ploiesti, where the Romanians led 5-0 after less than an hour of play before slacking off at the end of the match.
