In addition, the Turkish president made a statement that Turkey "together with Russia will take its place among the peacekeepers in Karabakh." 

Erdogan also expressed hope that "a just peace will be ensured in Syria, just like in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue."

He stressed that Turkey is ready for "closer cooperation with Russia on the future of Syria."

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Russia and Turkey will interact on Nagorno-Karabakh issues through the monitoring center on the territory of Azerbaijan.
