This Wednesday, it was barely 11 a.m., when the firefighters were called to rescue a man, aged 81, who had just jumped in the Sèvre at the level of the Nid d'Oie bridge, in the town of Clisson, in Loire-Atlantique.

The victim could be recovered by the divers, tells the Sdis 44 (departmental fire and rescue service).

He was brought back to the bank and then taken care of by the firefighters and the SMUR.

The man, who tried to end his life according to the local press, was transported "in serious condition" to Nantes hospital.
