Since the start of the All Saints holidays, primary school students have been required to wear a mask when going to class to limit the circulation of the coronavirus.

As of last week, the Occitanie region announced that it would distribute a free mask to each child aged 6 to 11.

This Tuesday, the Toulouse city hall, manager of the schools, indicated that it was going to release financial assistance for the purchase for the most modest families.

This purchase aid, amounting to 10 euros per child, will allow the Capitol to buy at least two washable masks per child.

To be eligible, you must live in Toulouse and be a beneficiary of the RSA, the Disabled Adult's Allowance or even Housing Assistance.

The Haute-Garonne Family Allowance Fund, which holds the data on family income, will pay this aid during the week of December 7 to 11 to some 10,500 families concerned, i.e. 14,200 children, which brings the total amount of this measure to 140,000 euros for the municipality.
