The various presidential and legislative candidates are campaigning while the Electoral Commission receives their representatives.
For the Ceni, it is a question of taking stock of the preparations for the elections of November 22.
In addition, its president, Hamed Newton Barry, questioned the candidates on the respect of security instructions, after the assassination Sunday, in the Sahel region, of the driver of a deputy by armed men.

A dozen days before
the double ballot
, the Election Commission has already started transporting voting materials to the various regions of the country.
The recruitment and training of members of the polling stations is underway according to Hamed Newton Barry, president of the Ceni: “
We have started to deploy heavy equipment: the voting booths and ballot boxes.
We started with the most remote areas and we are also testing the difficult areas, to see if we can possibly go there or not.

Oumar Ouedraogo, the representative of the Congress candidate for democracy and progress, said he was unhappy with the situation in regions where insecurity could prevent the opening of certain polling stations: “
We still feel some tinkering.
When, for example, we say that there are a certain number of offices that will not be open because of the security situation.
Really, we are not convinced.

As for the results, they will be published as soon as the polling stations close and once validated by the compilation center.
