U.S. President-elect Joe Biden said he was delivering the message "The United States is back" in a serial call with foreign leaders.
According to the Washington Post, Biden held a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware, where his home is located, and explained that he was talking to the overseas leaders.
"First of all, I am letting them know that'the United States is back'," said Biden. "We will recover again. This is not the United States alone."
He stressed that he was confident that he would be able to return the United States to a position of respect as it used to be.
