Monaco right-back Ruben Aguilar was summoned for the first time to the French team on Monday evening by coach Didier Deschamps for the next matches for the Blues, said the Federation.

The 27-year-old defender was "called in" and will join the Clairefontaine training center "Tuesday at the start of the day", the day before the friendly match against Finland, in preparation for the Nations League meetings in Portugal and against Sweden, said the FFF.

Several internationals arrived in Yvelines on Monday accompanied by doubts about their state of form.

This is particularly the case of Benjamin Pavard, the right side of Bayern Munich, suffering from a muscle problem in a thigh.

The uncertainty also concerns Kylian Mbappé, victim of a similar embarrassment, and his teammate at Paris SG Presnel Kimpembe, affected in the right foot.

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar, called to replace injured Nabil Fekir, was forced to forfeit Monday also due to injury.

With AS Monaco, a club he joined in the summer of 2019, Aguilar has one goal and two assists since the start of the season in the league.

Wednesday's friendly match against Finland serves as preparation for the group's clash in the League of Nations against Portugal on Saturday in Lisbon, before Sweden's reception on Tuesday November 17 in Saint-Denis.
