[Explanation] The 11th Cross-Strait Machinery Industry Expo with the theme of "Cross-Strait Cooperation, Development and Win-Win" kicked off in Longyan, Fujian on November 8.
623 enterprises and institutions at home and abroad participated in the show to showcase new products, new technologies and new equipment.
[Explanation] As an important platform for the exchange and cooperation of the machinery industry across the Taiwan Strait, Taiwanese companies are actively participating in this Expo. In front of the booth of Taiwan Yuchang Machinery, Taiwanese businessman Chen Zhengyao is introducing sweepers, vacuum cleaners and other products to customers .
Chen Zhengyao came to the mainland for development as early as 1993. He has been engaged in the trade of machinery and equipment for more than 20 years. He is also very optimistic about the mainland market.

It feels that we are improving every year, and then we still look forward to the mainland market, and we can expect it. The annual benefits are good, and we are still supporting our company. This is our big expectation. , I hope to be able to develop here.
[Explanation] Like Chen Zhengyao, many Taiwanese businessmen who participated in the conference that day have been cultivating in the mainland for many years and have also witnessed many achievements in the cooperation between the two sides of the strait in the machinery industry.
[Explanation] Lin Jiro, a Taiwanese businessman who is over 70 years old, focuses on the edible fungus industry.
He is called "Grandpa Pleurotus eryngii" in the industry.
In 2008, Lin Jiro started his business from Taiwan to Fujian. After that, his industry expanded to Tianjin and Chengdu.
This time, he also made a special trip to the machine fair site to find the construction machinery needed by the enterprise.

The development of heavy machinery is also very fast. When I came ten years ago, our heavy machinery was not so good. Now we can compete internationally.
[Explanation] Six major exhibition areas will be set up at this year's International Airport Expo, including industrial development, engineering and environmental protection machinery, special vehicles and emergency equipment, Taiwan machinery, intelligent manufacturing, and accessories.
The organizer also hopes to use the platform of the Expo to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of the machinery industry on both sides of the strait and promote the integrated development of the machinery industry on both sides of the strait.

The long-term cross-strait exchanges include exchanges with local Taiwanese companies. Of course, the future development is definitely just around the corner.

Of course, due to the epidemic and other reasons, the two sides of the strait are now encountering some difficulties in communication. Now our mainland is actively trying to find ways to listen more deeply to the voices of Taiwan compatriots and enterprises, and see their current lives, work, and What are the issues that need our attention in all aspects of learning, etc., and plan together to see if some effective measures can be taken to promote the solution of these issues.
[Explanation] The reporter learned that the Cross-Strait Machinery Industry Expo 2010 was approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It is held on November 8th every year and has been successfully held for ten sessions.
Relying on Fujian Longyan's characteristic industrial advantages, location advantages and Taiwan advantages, the Cross-Strait Machinery Industry Expo has become an important platform for cross-strait investment cooperation, industrial docking, and economic and trade exchanges.
The Expo will also host more than 20 sub-events such as the Industrial Development Summit Forum, the First Longyan Internet Conference, and the Cross-Strait (Longyan) Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Forum.
