Mary's hens in quarantine: "A tragedy to have to kill them"

In normal cases, Maria Karlsson's hens, which are found on Möllby Lantgård, which Maria runs on Tjörn, go outdoors all year round.

But at the request of the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the hens can now be crowded indoors.

- They get stressed from being crowded, just like we humans during the corona pandemic.

But at the same time, it is good that the Swedish Board of Agriculture takes the safe before the unsafe and looks after the chickens' best interests, she says.
