He had gone to play golf when the announcement of Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential election was made official by the media.

What spoil the game for him.

So when he returned to the White House, Donald Trump did not seem really relaxed.

And it was on Twitter that he spoke.

The outgoing American president thus estimated, all in capital letters, to have “won with 71,000 million legal votes”.

What are you waiting for?

THE OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE COUNTING ROOMS.

I WON THE ELECTION, GOT 71,000,000 LEGAL VOTES.

BAD THINGS HAPPENED WHICH OUR OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE.

NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WERE SENT TO PEOPLE WHO NEVER ASKED FOR THEM!

- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 7, 2020

"Millions of postal ballots were sent to people who never asked for them," he argues.

However, according to Fox News, Trump is giving himself some time to see, with his legal team, whether he can legally challenge the election.

If he cannot, the president will concede his defeat and engage in a peaceful handover.
