This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office.

“It was established that on November 7 at about 13:00 a light-engine Cessna plane crashed.

There were two people on board the aircraft, both were killed, ”the supervisory authority said.

The prosecutor's office added that the reasons for the plane crash are being established. 

The Moscow Prosecutor for Supervision of Law Enforcement in Air and Water Transport was instructed to check the implementation of the flight safety legislation. 

“If there are grounds, the issue of taking exhaustive measures of the prosecutor’s response will be considered,” the department said.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a light-engine aircraft made a hard landing in a field near the city of Lyubertsy in the Moscow region.
