In the prefectures and administrations of Moscow, from Thursday, November 12, a check-in system (registration of telephone numbers at the entrance) will operate.

According to the head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services Aleksey Nemeryuk, the corresponding decree has already been signed.

"Starting next Thursday, the mayor's decree has already been signed, this system will also operate in prefectures and governments," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Nemeryuk, the system has worked well, it helps doctors conduct epidemiological investigations.

He noted that the mechanism is not prohibitive or control, but performs an information function.

“It allows visitors to certain establishments to find out if they had any possible contact with a sick person, and to consult a doctor in a timely manner and get tested,” Nemeryuk explained.

Earlier, the Moscow authorities introduced a registration system for employees and visitors to nightlife as an experiment.

The new measure started working on October 19.

According to the new rules, entrance to discos, nightclubs and bars is possible only after scanning a QR code at the entrance or sending an SMS to a special short number.

Since the beginning of the work of the QR-code system, more than 4 thousand enterprises in Moscow have implemented it for the registration of visitors.

“It should be noted that the system proposed by restaurateurs has taken root.

And already more than 4 thousand enterprises use it.

In total, more than 1.1 million people have already checked into the system since October 19, ”Nemeryuk said.

We add that the registration system at the entrance from November 5 also started working in government buildings in Moscow.

Both employees and visitors must pass it.

In October, the capital's authorities admitted that the introduction of the system is also possible in beauty salons and non-food stores, if the experience of using similar measures in the capital's nightlife establishments is successful.

The city administration stressed that we are talking about an alternative to the complete closure of these institutions.

Evgeny Danchikov, the head of the Moscow Main Control Board, said that the QR-code system works flawlessly.

“Everything works fine, there are no failures, but if there are any shortcomings, then there is the support service of the Information Technology Department, which quickly works out any shortcomings.

But we do not see global problems, ”Danchikova was quoted as saying by TASS.

Subsequently, Danchikov also spoke about the prospect of introducing special passes in the capital.

According to him, the Moscow authorities do not see the need for such measures yet.

“So far we do not see the need for this - and today's measures, in our opinion, will be enough not to introduce stricter measures,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
