After discussions with infection control doctors and school doctors, the assessment was made that a reasonable measure is distance education for two weeks, says Pernilla Tornéus (M), chair of the education committee.
The two other municipal upper secondary schools, Kungsmadskolan and Teknikum, are described as having a calmer situation with only a few cases spread over time. For that reason, distance education is not relevant at the two schools according to Växjö municipality.
