A 14-year-old boy injured in a fight with "a gang of young people".
The brawl broke out in front of the Frédéric-Joliot-Curie high school in Dammarie-les-Lys, in Seine-et-Marne.
During this clash, the high school student received a "sharpening gun" in the abdomen, a weapon by destination "resembling a screwdriver" and normally used to sharpen kitchen knives, said a police source.
The young boy's life is not in danger.
"He was targeted by a gang of unidentified young people", "a priori college students", around 9:30 am in front of his school, added a source familiar with the matter.
He was transported by the emergency services to the hospital in Kremlin-Bicêtre (Val-de-Marne), according to the firefighters.
No arrest had taken place Thursday noon, according to another police source.
A listening unit was set up in the high school by the rectorate of Créteil and the deputy director of the departmental services of National Education of Seine-et-Marne went there.
