The Spanish star Rafael Nadal continued his distinguished figures in the world of tennis after reaching the "thousand" victory in his professional career, after defeating his compatriot Feliciano Lopez in the second round of the Paris tournament, the last of the "Masters" tournaments for a thousand points.

The official WTA account celebrated Nadal's "thousand" victory, by posting videos of his victories and honoring him with the 1000th victory shield he achieved 18 years after his first victory in the "Mallorca" tournament, his hometown, in 2002.

"Merci beaucoup."
