In Bolivia too, the election results are questioned.

While the country voted on October 18, and the Movement towards Socialism (MAS) emerged victorious in the first round, citizen groups, especially in the east of the country, are contesting the results and calling for an audit of the ballot.

They started blockades in the Santa Cruz region.

Second day of blockade Friday, November 6 in the region of Santa Cruz, economic capital of Bolivia.

There, Fernando Camacho, presidential candidate in the October 18 election, conservative entrepreneur and very right wing, enjoys great popularity.

Logically,

the

resounding

victory of MAS

, the left party, with 55% of the vote, does not pass here.

For the demonstrators, there was electoral fraud.

“

There are a lot of signs of fraud.

But this year, they cheated much more quietly.

Nothing stands in the way of Luis Arce's inauguration on November 8

However, this year, the observation missions did not find any notable irregularities in the ballot.

And the electoral commission is rather unanimous for its professionalism.

In addition to doubting the ballot, the demonstrators criticize a vote in Parliament that cancels the need for the approval of 2/3 of parliamentarians for a number of decisions.

Indeed, the MAS did not obtain 2/3 of the Assembly and thus facilitates the coming years in power.

The discontented are not yet very numerous, unlike last year, and most political parties have in fact recognized the

victory of Luis Arce

, who will take the head of the country on Sunday 8 November.
