During lunchtime on Thursday, the rescue service was alerted to an address in Jakobsberg, Järfälla.
A fire had started in an apartment on the ground floor and other residents in the house were evacuated.
- The fire has been extinguished, but there was a lot of smoke development and we are ventilating the stairwell now, says Lisen Sessler, management operator at Räddningscentralen Mitt.
One person was slightly injured and the police write on their website that it is probably an accident.
