The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in Abu Dhabi announced the modernization of the procedures for entering the emirate, in order to reinforce the precautionary measures for early detection of "Covid-19" virus infections, and it adopts the obligation of residents and visitors to conduct additional checks within the emirate, according to the length of their stay in it.

According to the new procedures, all residents and visitors, who enter the emirate from Sunday, the eighth of this current November, must undergo a PCR examination, on the fourth day only, for those whose stay extended for four consecutive days or more, and in the case of staying in the emirate for eight days or more, An additional, additional PCR nasal swab examination should be performed on the eighth day.

Residents and visitors of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi shall continue to be permitted to enter the emirate upon presenting a negative result for the PCR test, or the DPI laser test, within 48 hours of receiving the result, and everyone who entered the emirate before the eighth of November, must apply the previous procedures that require a PCR examination per day.
