"We are filing a lawsuit to prevent election workers - Democrats from hiding the counting of ballots and their processing from our Republican observers at the polling stations," RIA Novosti quotes a statement from Deputy Chief of Staff Justin Clark.

According to him, the team is demanding "to temporarily suspend the counting until there is reasonable transparency and the Republicans can make sure that all the counts are open and in accordance with the law."

Previously, similar lawsuits were filed in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Trump's lawyer Rudolph Giuliani said he was heading to the city of Philadelphia because of "massive violations."
