SMHI warns of very strong winds and snowfall in the mountains

Västerbotten has not yet recovered from this week's troublesome floods and SMHI still warns of high water flows in large parts of Norrland.

Now a new bad weather is expected, this time in the mountain world.

- It will be hard mountain weather with winds of up to 24 meters per second, says SVT's meteorologist Tora Tomasdottir.

SMHI has issued a class 1 warning for the Northern and Southern Lapland mountains and the Jämtland mountains.

Among other things, snow drifts with poor visibility are expected.
