New Dpcm. Fontana: a slap to the Lombards. Zaia: our model held

04 November 2020The division of the country into three zones was, in fact, more difficult than expected.

The "yellow" limitations provided for in the new Dpcm presented in the evening by the Prime Minister Conte have met with criticism, such as the curfew at 10 pm defined as "a measure against stray dogs" by the governor of Campania Vincenzo De Luca.

"The requests made by the Lombardy Region, yesterday and today, were not even taken into consideration. A slap in the face of Lombardy and all the Lombards. A way of behaving that my people do not deserves ".

This was stated by the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, commenting on the words of the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, who declared Lombardy a red zone.

"Communicating to the Lombards and Lombardy, at dinner time, that our region is relegated to the red band without a valid and credible reason is not only serious, but unacceptable," added the governor.

"What makes this Government decision even more incomprehensible are the data through which it is adopted: ten days old information that does not take into account the current epidemiological situation".

"The classification of the Regions in different areas must not trigger a war between the poor. It is not necessary to think now that there are first of the class and unlucky".

The President of Veneto Luca Zaia says so on the bands of the Dpcm.

"As far as Veneto is concerned, our classification in the yellow area - he underlines - shows that until now, I repeat until now, the management system and the health model have held up".

So in our Region, bars and restaurants will be open until 6pm, as is already the case today.

" The choice of the national government to relegate Sicily to the 'orange zone' appears absurd and unreasonable.

This was stated by the president of the Sicilian Region Nello Musumeci, commenting on the 'inclusion of the island in the "orange zone".
