It continues to be dramatic in the counting of votes after yesterday's US presidential election.

The states in the so-called "rust belt" have been in focus during the campaign and play an important role now that the vote count is underway.

After Joe Biden was declared the winner of Wisconsin, incumbent President Donald Trump demands that the votes there be recounted.

Something he has every right to do, says SVT's correspondent Stefan Åsberg.

- There is a difference of 20,000 votes and that was about what he himself won in the 2016 election, he says.

Trump's proposal has not been left unanswered by Joe Biden's staff.

- A 29 minute long video about why Joe Biden will win is pumped out of the campaign.

They will not give up here, says SVT's broadcaster Carina Bergfeldt.
