Last weekend, five people were arrested and detained in Järva.

All are connected to a criminal network in Husby.

It was after the police arrested a person suspected of having sold drugs, that a house search was made in an apartment in Solna.

A weapon and drugs, including cocaine and cannabis, were found there, according to information to SVT.

Weapons in the apartment

Four people who were in the apartment were arrested and later arrested, on suspicion of a serious gun crime and drug crime.

One of them is a 21-year-old who has been singled out as the leader of the network.

He has now been arrested.

He has previously been convicted of a felony and drug offense.

The arrests take place within the framework of Operation Portia in the local police area Rinkeby.

Four murders since last summer

The effort was added to stop the spiral of violence that started in Järva this summer.

During July and August, four murders occurred in connection with the conflict between a network from Husby and Tensta, respectively.

According to information to SVT, it started with the network in Tensta beating a young man to death.

This was filmed and spread on social media.

The victim's friends in Husby were avenged and this then led to a young man being murdered in front of several witnesses, including children, in Rinkeby on 13 August.

After that, two more people were shot dead, one on each side of the conflict.

- The effort will continue with the same intensity in the future, says Commander and Deputy Local Police Area Chief in Rinkeby, Maria Sundström in a statement.

Cool off

According to information to SVT, the police hope that the conflict will cool off now because people on both sides are deprived of their liberty.

But it is also known that the power vacuum also increases the risk of new shootings.

Therefore, the police are working on several fronts to disrupt various criminal networks.
