Austria: after the attack, the Viennese worried about the future of the country

Vienna, the Austrian capital, remains bereaved by the attack which left 4 dead and several injured on Monday, November 2.
The emotion is still alive there.
The assailant, shot dead by police the night of the attack, was a supporter of the Islamic State group.
The organization claimed responsibility for the attack.

I was on a bicycle, so I had to enter a building, one of the very nice inhabitants invited me to his apartment with three other people.
It was quite stressful.
Today there are still a lot of police on the streets and I don't really like that.
But over time, it will pass, we will calm down.

Fear of the future
Robert Kellner, a young professor, admits having some concerns for the future: “
In the next few years, many people who are in prison because supporters of the Islamic State organization will come out and it is all the same a little scary.
We tell ourselves that if out of ten of them, three had the idea of doing something to harm society, it would be a disaster.
"
This attack will have profound consequences for Austria, predicts Heinz, a Viennese in his forties.
“
It's such a huge event for Austria that there will be a lot of debate, especially on our way of dealing with violence.
"
This Thursday again several tributes are planned, including one from IGGÖ, the representative body of Muslims in Austria.
For his part, French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Vienna next Monday.
