Mouthguards and plastic gloves are flushed down the toilet

The use of both mouth guards and plastic gloves has increased in the footsteps of the corona pandemic.

One problem is that people seem to flush this down the toilet when they have been used instead of throwing it in flammable.

- It can have major consequences here at the treatment plant, says Rickard Ulfsparre, process engineer at Vatten Östersund to SVT Jämtland.
