03 November 2020 There are 15,352 new infections recorded in Germany in the last 24 hours: this was reported by the Robert Koch Institut (Rki), the German epidemiological center, specifying that the total number of infections in the Federal Republic exceeds 560,000 cases.

131 deaths were reported by the health authorities.

However, the infections reported today mark a decrease compared to last week: on Saturday, according to Rki data, Germany had exceeded its absolute record with over 19 thousand daily infections. 



The "soft lockdown" decided last week by the German government in agreement with the Laender began yesterday.

Among the measures, the closure of restaurants, bars, cinemas, theaters, discos, the "minimization" of all social contacts with the permission of a maximum of two families or cohabitants to meet outdoors, while schools remain open , kindergartens and shops.



Curfew in addition to lockdown

In Bulgaria 80% more infections in a week


Bulgaria, 7 million inhabitants, also records a new peak of infections from Covid-19: in the last 24 hours, there were 2,427, and brought the total to 56,496 cases registered by beginning of the pandemic, with 1349 deaths (51 of which on the last day alone).

The number of patients currently hospitalized is 2,841 people, 180 of whom are in intensive care.
