They had banners with bull runes, shields, uniform-like clothes and shouted "Hell victory".

But according to the district court, it is not enough to classify NMR's demonstration in Gothenburg in 2017 which incites against ethnic groups.

Three years after the demonstration, the issue will now be tried in the Court of Appeal.

Of the fifteen accused, all men aged 20 to 50, fourteen are suspected of having committed incitement against ethnic groups.

And seven of them are suspected of violent riots.

The district court dismissed the charge of incitement against an ethnic group in its entirety.

- We did not expect anything else.

I do not see that there would be a change even in an appeal court process, said Sargon De Basso, lawyer for one of those who was acquitted in the district court, after the verdict.

However, five of the seven suspects were convicted of violent rioting.
