32 basic health areas of the Community of Madrid have maintained the mobility restrictions to which they have been subject since October 26, to which 3 new areas are added, one of them in Majadahonda (Valle de la Oliva) and

others two in Coslada (Doctor Tamames and Barrio del Puerto).

These three new areas maintain a cumulative incidence in the last two weeks above 500 cases of covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants -the average for the region is 401.8-, and within them 55,294 people live, 0.8

percent of the region's population and 1.1 percent of those diagnosed.

In this way, they are added to the 32 health zones where mobility limitations already existed since last October 26 and where they will be in force until next Sunday, November 8.

The residents of these 35 sanitary areas -which represent 11% of the population of the Community- will not be able to leave them except for justified reasons, such as work, and

will have other limitations such as, for example, the closure of playgrounds, which are open in the rest of the region.

The sanitary zones with restrictions are located in thirteen localities: Madrid capital, Collado Villalba, Guadarrama, Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Parla, Colmenar Viejo, Morata de Tajuña, Torrejón de Ardoz, El Boalo, Villarejo de Salvanés, Coslada and Colmenar de Oreja .

After the state of alarm decreed by the Government of the nation waned, the Community of Madrid decided to return to its strategy of restricting mobility in certain

health areas with a high incidence of COVID-19 infections.

Since the start of this strategy, on September 21, restriction measures in these population centers have resulted in a reduction in the number of hospital admissions and diagnosed cases, according to the regional government.

Meanwhile, tonight the perimeter closure decreed by the Community of Madrid last Friday to prevent massive displacements outside Madrid will decline.
