To elect the President of Moldova, a second round of voting will be required, since none of the candidates gains more than 50% of the votes necessary to win, reports TASS, citing data from the Central Election Commission of the republic after processing 75% of the protocols.
The incumbent leader of Moldova, Igor Dodon, gains 36.27%, and the leader of the Action and Solidarity party, former Prime Minister of Moldova Maia Sandu, receives 31.03% of voters' support.
The second round of the presidential elections in Moldova will take place on November 15.
