In the Czech Republic, 1,174 coronavirus cases died in a week, thus, the death rate in the country in terms of 100 thousand population for seven days was 11.02.

The country came out on top in this indicator in the world, overtaking Andorra, where six people died in a week and the death rate in terms of 100 thousand people in seven days was 7.88.

The countries with the highest death rates from COVID-19 in a week also included Belgium (6.81), Armenia (6.19) and Montenegro (6.11).

In terms of mortality among patients with coronavirus for the entire time of the pandemic, the Czech Republic ranks 30th in the world in terms of per 100 thousand population.

Earlier it was reported that Belgium has become the country with the highest incidence of coronavirus in the European Union.
