The police were alerted to Södra Kungsgatan in Flen at 00.05.
Both boys were in company when one of them was jumped on and beaten by five people outside a restaurant.
- He came to the rescue and in connection with that gets rid of a piece of jewelry, says Monica Bergström.
The suspects managed to leave the scene before the police showed up.
No one has been arrested for the crime and the police have classified the incident as robbery and aggravated assault.
Was beaten to the ground
Just over three hours later, the police receive an alarm about another robbery, this time in Strängäns.
Shortly after 3 o'clock, a man in his 35s is said to have been attacked and robbed by two other men in central Strängnäs.
- He was beaten to the ground and robbed of his wallet, says Bergsröm.
No one has been arrested and the police have launched a preliminary investigation into the aggravated robbery.
