The official spokesman for the Emirate of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultan Al-Dosari, announced that at 10:30 pm on Friday evening, the security authorities in the Holy Capital started an accident in which a car hit one of the doors of the Grand Mosque as a result of its drift while traveling at high speed on a road surrounding the southern square At the Grand Mosque, explaining that no one was hurt.

The spokesman added that after his arrest, the person turned out to be a Saudi citizen and in an abnormal condition, and he is being referred to the Public Prosecution.

Saudi media published videos of the moment the car hit the gate of the Grand Mosque, and the Saudi security men took the car away from the sanctuary grounds.
