Over the past 75 years, the United Nations has made unremitting efforts to realize the long-term vision of the Charter; maintaining peace, promoting cooperation, and creating conditions to improve people’s living standards.

This year, the world has suffered a huge impact from the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

As countries around the world strive to ensure the safety and livelihood development of their people, the United Nations is determined to build a fairer and more sustainable post-epidemic world.

Amakobe Sande, the acting UN Coordinator in China, said in her speech that the desire to revive multilateralism and realize the "United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" through the "decade of action" is stronger than ever.

We must test how we have achieved "better reconstruction" through various efforts in response to the epidemic to ensure that "no one is left behind" and "no country is left behind."

She praised China's two major progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: great achievements in poverty reduction in rural areas, and actions taken to address climate change, striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.

She emphasized that the United Nations will unswervingly work with the Chinese government to jointly achieve sustainable development goals.

"As an advocate and practitioner of sustainable development, China has incorporated the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development into its national medium and long-term development strategy, and while achieving its own development, it contributes to supporting and driving global development." Ma Zhaoxu Point out in the speech.

In China, the "Chinese Youth Dialogue on the Future" series of activities co-sponsored by 12 United Nations agencies to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations attracted nearly 50 million people online.

The United Nations system in China recently launched the "2045 I Want" social media campaign to further promote the UN75 one-minute survey: cn.un75.online.

This social media event encourages the public to spend one minute expressing their vision for the future.

Many organizations participated in the United Nations Day as supporting units, including the International Teochew Regiment Association, China Nordic Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, Beijing Meiling Charity Foundation, Kangzhi Pharmaceutical, Shenzhen One Foundation Charity Foundation-Chaoshan Mother Charity Fund , Century Changhe Group, Hainan Nanguo Food, Shanghai Medical Nutrition Medicine, Global Green Technology Development Center, Baochi Technology, etc.
