It was at 10.30 pm on Wednesday evening that the police received the alarm about a gunshot wounded person in his 20s outside the hamburger restaurant Max in central Boden.

The man was transported to hospital, but died of his injuries.

45-year-old was arrested

After a large police operation, a 45-year-old man from Boden was arrested and detained.

After chamber prosecutor Rickard Finnberg requested that he be detained, suspected of murder, the district court went on the prosecutor's line on Saturday morning.

- The arrest hearings were held behind lantern doors, but on the basis that I presented, the district court considered that he for probable cause, the stronger degree of suspicion, is suspected of murder at this time.

- Otherwise, the police work very broadly, and there are many witnesses left to hear, says Rickard Finnberg.

The murder weapon is missing

But the murder weapon is still missing.

- We're still looking for a weapon.

It is always important in a murder case to have a weapon, and above all we do not want a weapon on the rise, so to speak, but it does not have to be decisive for a prosecution for murder.

Are there more involved?

- I can not comment on that, says Rickard Finnberg.
