During All Saints' Day and the weekend, many will visit cemeteries to remember their loved ones.

Many have died in the suites of Covid-19, something that Prime Minister Stefan Löfven raised in a speech today, which was published on Facebook.

The Prime Minister paid attention to those who died during the pandemic and those who made an effort to reduce the spread of infection.

- Prohibition of visits to nursing homes and the need for physical distance has made the phones hot but the hugs have become few.

A sacrifice for many people who have made that the last farewell may not be the desired conclusion, says Stefan Löfven in the speech.

Tonight, a national memorial service for the victims of the pandemic will be held from Uppsala Cathedral. The Archbishop, the royal couple, the Speaker of the Riksdag and the Prime Minister will participate. The memorial service will be broadcast on TV4 at 17.55.
