The Parisian handball players outclassed Limoges 42 to 20 on Saturday in their Coubertin room behind closed doors, and signed their sixth victory in as many matches in the French championship, strengthening their position at the top of the standings.

This match between PSG and Limoges is the only one played this weekend on behalf of the 7th day of Starligue, the other meetings have been postponed due to cases of Covid-19 in the workforce, or due to the closed camera imposed by the new confinement that came into force on Friday and until December 1 at least.

PSG manager Bruno Martini has also clearly spoken, at the microphone of beIN Sports, for the continuation of the championship, even behind closed doors as the German championship does.

The National Handball League must decide during the week whether or not to continue its championships (Starligue and Proligue).

In Coubertin, the unexpected poster between the first two in the championship, PSG, six-time reigning French champion, and the surprising promoted Limoges, very quickly turned to the Parisian demonstration.

More in difficulty in the Champions League, PSG continued its health walk at the national level against Limoges, returning to the locker room after the first period with 12 goals ahead (20-8).

"It's a complicated context and getting into a game behind closed doors is never easy. These are the hazards, we play in a complex health situation all over the world and in our country. We must try to provide the more pleasure possible for viewers ", commented Elohim Prandi, top scorer of the match (13 goals), at the microphone of beIN Sports.

The Parisian pivot Luka Karabatic, absent since the end of September, made his return on Saturday, and Vincent Gérard closed the door to the rare attacks from Limoges (11 stops out of 30 attempts).

With six victories in six matches, PSG prances ahead of the Starligue with 12 points, three more than Limoges, its first pursuer, in a championship strongly disrupted by the Covid-19.

After the international break, PSG must travel to Nîmes in two weeks, for its first test of the season.
