On October 30, the first school for the children of Taiwanese businessmen in mainland China, Dongguan Taiwanese Businessmen's School, celebrated its 20th anniversary.

More than 200 guests from all walks of life on both sides of the strait attended this school celebration.

  Aladdin, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White... the children of the lower grades of the Dongguan Taiwanese Children’s School dressed up as animated characters in fairy tales, under the leadership of the teachers, brought a vibrant opening to the school’s 20-year-old birthday party.

Subsequently, thousands of teachers and students from 15 grades of the school also brought wonderful performances such as Baduanjin, Hundred Lions Offering Rui, Convention Dance, Tai Chi, and Same Song Different Dance.

  On August 28, 2000, the Dongguan School for Children of Taiwanese Businessmen was established in Zhongtang Town, Dongguan City. It is a non-profit private school built by Taiwanese businessmen and caring people from both sides of the strait.

The school level includes 15 grades including kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and high school. The number of students in the school has gradually increased from more than 600 20 years ago to more than 2500. The total number of students enrolled in the school has reached nearly 10,000.
