Strömsund makes a new attempt to get rid of old cars

The municipality decided in March 2019 that the man is prohibited from storing motor vehicles outdoors on more than one property in the municipality.

He may not own more than 25 vehicles.

If the man does not follow the decision, a fine of SEK 50,000 will be imposed.

For each vehicle over 25, SEK 5,000 must be paid in fines.

But the man appealed the municipality's decision.

The County Administrative Board rejected the appeal, and the Land and Environmental Court follows the municipality's line.

The vehicle owner has the opportunity to appeal the decision to the Supreme Land and Environmental Court.
