A statement on the Chechen government website on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet, which was on the 12th of Rabi` al-Awwal, and coincided with the night of October 29, listed a number of names, saying that the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, "gave birth to 3 sons and 4 daughters. Ibrahim, Qasim, and the girls: Umm Kulthum, Fatima, Ruqayya, and Zainab. As for his companions, there were many of them: Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, Ali, and other companions.
Chechen Information Minister Akhmed Dudayev told the official TASS news agency that this work is held annually in honor of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, but it will expand this year.
He added that last year only the children received payments, but this year the money will also be paid to families, who name their newborns in the name of members of the Prophet's family and his closest companions.
It is noteworthy that Akhmad Kadyrov was the Mufti of Chechnya and a great military leader in the struggle for its independence from Russia from 1994-1996, before his reconciliation with Moscow.
