It also announced the death of two people from the repercussions of infection with the virus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 490 cases.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased, and its wishes for a cure for the injured.
Calling upon community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions, and adhere to social distancing, to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
The Ministry also announced that 1,460 new cases had been cured for those infected with the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 127,607.
