The French Minister of Foreign Affairs called on French nationals living abroad to be cautious in the aftermath of the Nice attack, believing that the threat against French interests was "everywhere".

"The message of emergency attack (highest level, editor's note) was sent last night to all of our nationals abroad, wherever they are, since the threat is everywhere," said Jean-Yves Le Drian after a Defense Council.
