The so-called "stricter general councils" came into being on Tuesday, October 20, and were initially said to last until November 3.

Already on Thursday, October 29, however, the message came.

The advice is extended.

The basis for the decision - which was taken by the Swedish Public Health Agency in consultation with the Uppsala Region - is that the spread of infection does not decrease.

- We can not evaluate the effect of the local general councils so far, says Mikael Köhler, director of health and medical care in the Uppsala Region.
