According to TASS, the Catalan media previously talked about a certain group of Russians who, in 2017, offered the ex-head of the Catalan government Carles Puigdemont to send 10 thousand soldiers to the region.
The journalists refer to the judge of Barcelona, who is investigating the case on the allocation of state funds for the "separatist process."
In turn, the judge made a statement based on a recording of 2018 conversations involving Catalan politician Victor Terradelas with two supporters of the region's independence.
