Neymar, the Brazilian star of Paris SG, left with a groin injury Wednesday in the victory against Basaksehir (2-0) in the Champions League, will be absent for the next three matches, according to information published Thursday by RMC Sport.

"The Brazilian, who had tried to continue the match before finally asking for his replacement, had an MRI which revealed an injury to the adductor," said the website.

Unavailable until the international break, Neymar will therefore miss two Ligue 1 matches, in Nantes on Saturday and against Rennes at the Parc des Princes on November 7, as well as the Champions League meeting on the lawn of RB Leipzig on Wednesday, until to the international break.

"No indication has yet been given on his participation in the gathering of the Brazilian national team," continues RMC Sport.

La Seleçao face Venezuela and Uruguay on November 14 and 18 respectively.

"Ney" could make his return during the trip to Monaco on November 20, in L1, subject to being reinstated.

Tuchel thus loses his master to play, while he already has to deal with a full infirmary, with Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi, Leandro Paredes, Julian Draxler and Juan Bernat.

After missing the start of the season because of the Covid-19, then two other matches following his exclusion against Marseille, Neymar has 2 goals and 4 assists since the start of the school year.
